Full Reveal of November Addicted Scrappers Kit Projects

Sooo... I finally got the time to photograph my fall family mini album and it was my last project to be made using the November Addicted Scrappers kit, so I wanted to share the full range of goodies I made using this kit! I really enjoyed everything in this kit, and I have never used Bella Blvd. paper before- I really liked it! So, without further ado- here's the rest of my mini album and other goodies:

And here's something pretty for my purse- it's a pocket planner and I altered the cover of it so that I have my two cuties staring at me everytime I pull it out of my purse!
And now for the Layouts (drumroll please!):

Yes- this is yet another page made using my circle template- I punched the holes and put some more pattern paper behind it to make a window effect- will I ever get tired of this technique? I don't think so! This is what- the fifth layout I've used it on? I'm just proud of myself for using a tool I bought more than once!

And guess what showed up in my mailbox today? You guessed it- the December kit! It is absolutely beautiful, and the paper is from OCTOBER AFTERNOON, my new favorite :) It's like my chocolate truffle of scrapbook stuff right now! I already made a page with it this evening and you'll all get to see it on Sketches! {By Tamara} on Monday!

Hold Still!

I'm still trying to hold off in posting all of my projects from the November Addicted Scrappers kit- so I'm going to share a page I made with last month's kit! I called this one "Hold Still" because well- a photo of lucas holding still is nearly impossible to get these days!!

I picked up the scallop "flowers" idea at my LSS- when we made them at a make 'n' take I knew I would HAVE to buy the punches- even though my quickutz silhouette can make them too! Sometimes it's just easier to grab a punch ya know?

I also picked up some adorable Christmas papers at my LSS this weekend- can't wait to start creating with them! I bought some gift bags at wal-mart in red and green... I have been dreaming about all the wonderful things I can do to them later- LOL! Now if only I could stay awake at naptime today... and have both babies and all the other kids asleep AT THE SAME TIME... oh wait- I think I might have been dreaming again :)

This Week's Sketches! {By Tamara} Layout

This week's sketch was a double page layout- it was fun to work with! I decided to make my pages for Katelynne's baby book, so I used the K&Co little wonders paper that I have planned to do the whole album in. Be sure to check out what the rest of the layout design team did over at the Sketches! {By Tamara} blog- there is so much talent there, you will be inspired!

I took these photos myself too- I am really happy with how they look, and a lot cheaper than going to Sears!

Ok so those flourishes you see on there? Those are Prima's new Say it in Studs- I bought 3 packs of these because I thought they were so cool and I really really liked the say it in crystals flourishes. Well, if you were thinking about getting some of these studs DON'T! It takes like five minutes just to get one on your page because the adehesive they used for the studs isn't stable enough and when you take it off of the acetate they come on the flourish doesn't hold it's shape- it gets all stuck together and is next to impossible to get on your page!! I think they look absolutely adorable when you get them on, but I will not be buying anymore of these unless they change the glue!

Baby Shower

So one of my excuses for not posting for awhile was a baby shower- for one of my best friends! The dad is my husbands best friend from school and I have loved Carrie ever since he first brought her to town after meeting her at college. I knew I wanted to throw her a baby shower ever since I found out they were expecting! Oh yes and to make it even more special- you might remember my post a few months ago about the baby shower I threw for my friend Ashley- well guess what? Corey is her brother! That's right, they are going to have babies 3 months apart, how cool is that?

Here's the photos I took of them and the belly pics! I think they turned out really good, I just wish I could buy that Cannon Rebel I've been eyeing!

The lighting was a little bright in this one- and it was hard to get Corey to get a serious smile on his face, good thing Carrie looks cute enough for the both of them lol!

And here's the money shot- the belly and the fancy wedding ring all together :)

We all loved this pic because of the shadow of her belly, you can't really tell how big her baby bump is but her shadow gives it away.

Baby shower game prizes!

And now for the baby shower! We had it at the Sirloin Stockade here in town during the saturday breakfast buffet.

<---- If they were having twins they might have enough babies for all their stuff!

A glimpse of the table as guests walked in- Carrie made the scrapbook with her preggie pics and ultrasound photos. I ordered the princess rubber duckies from oriental trading- they were too cute! I saved one of them for Katelynne!

Here's the cake and cupcakes I decorated for the shower- and yes the cake says "Woot! It's a girl!" If you didn't know- Woot is the webster's word of the year and one of Carrie's favorite expressions, I just had to use it. And for anyone who didn't know- yes I do like to decorate cakes! I loved doing the pink and brown flourishes and flowers on this one, I even decorated it while babysitting- quite a feat if I do say so myself!

A close up of the diaper cake I made for them! I used mostly size 2 diapers so they wouldn't have to take it apart right away. I really enjoy making these diaper cakes and have a feeling that that will be my gift of choice whenever I am invited to a baby shower! The middle of the cake has a large bottle of baby powder in it too.

And last but not least- another table decoration I made for the tables, they are little pink pails (also from Oriental Trading) and I put the preggie pics onto candy sticks and tied little bows, there is sticky putty in the bottom to help hold them up. I made 6 of these, each with different photos.

No one missed me but I'm back

Well, I don't think that anyone was devastated to not see any new posts from me in awhile- but if you were, I am back in the game! With Halloween, my mother's birthday, a baby shower for a friend, and a new baby girl in my home daycare- I have been just a little bit busy, just a little. I've been scrapping plenty, just haven't had the time to share, so I'll be trying to catch up in the next week or so, expect some adorable baby shower decor, fall layouts, and maybe even a halloween project ;)

First I wanted to share my layout for this weeks Sketches! {By Tamara} blog:

This was also one of my creations using this month's kit from Addicted Scrappers- I'll share the rest of my kit creations soon!

Next- a mini album I made for my mother to carry in her purse and share with her friends and coworkers, it's made using badge holders I found in the stationary dept. at wal-mart.

And here's a pic of Katelynne on one of the last nice sunny days of fall, can you believe she's crawling now?!

I'll be back with more later!
